If you’re half awake get ready to be wide awake. “Tell ‘Em” is the first track from 2010’s promising purveyors of all things loud and pop, Sleigh Bells. Fair warning: This thing will rumble your insides if played at high volumes, i.e. the more of those tiny boxes on your laptop screen are white, the better it sounds. (Don’t be a wuss.)

The song kicks off Treats, Sleigh Bells’ debut LP, which comes out May 11 via Mom + Pop and M.I.A.’s N.E.E.T. imprint. (That’s the crumple-faced cover above, which M.I.A. first revealed via our Twitter on Monday) You can download “Tell ‘Em” over at this officially sanctioned SB web space.
